Spirits distilled from corn and barley with coffee
Kaffekask comes from a Swedish tradition of putting a coin in the bottom of a china cup, adding coffee until one couldn’t see the coin, adding clear spirits until one could see again, and then drinking the result. We distill a corn and barley mash through coffee for a rich, complex flavor that honors this tradition.
Our fair trade coffee comes to us from Vermont Coffee Company, our neighbor and friend.
