Barrel Aged Vermont Whiskey
This is why we started Appalachian Gap: to make beautiful, balanced, complex whiskey. We have been making our Snowfall Vermont Whiskey for over a year now, and have been putting a lot of it in a variety of barrels to create Ridgeline: new oak barrels, ex-bourbon barrels, and port wine barrels. We are not taking the shortcut that so many small distilleries do, and trying to use smaller barrels to simulate age — we are letting it age gracefully. We won’t put it into bottles until it is ready… and our first batches are ready.
Batch 2 is now available in the tasting room, and Batch 1 and 2 can be found on the shelves of Vermont liquor stores all over the state.
